Line 1: Line 1:
+==== Check polarity of electrolytics and transistors ====

+Even if you think you can be trusted to sit the right way on a toilet, you might not get all your electrolytic capacitors and transistors stuffed in the right way.
 +
+Before you solder your jumpers together, it's worth quickly checking through all your polar components to make sure you haven't fluffed the positive and negative ends. It should only take you about 20 minutes at the most.
 +
+==== Putting on the switchcaps ====
+Dirt Easy.  Make sure you put the 4 switches on the left, and the top right switch in horizontally.
 +
+==== Screwing the front panel on ====
 +
+Before you do this, check to make sure there aren't any FrontPanelMods you want to do.  When you do screw it on, it is easiest to screw in the top 2 middle screws, and the bottom middle screw, before doing the 4 corners.  Doing this brings the board up to the proper level, before attaching it to the case with the 4 corner screws.
 +
+==== Putting the Knobs on ====
 +
+The pots and rotary encoder are easy to put on, they can only go one way.  Resonance and Env Mod will be a little tight.   The tempo rotary encoder will click when you press down on it because it has a switch.
 +
+The 16 state switches for bank select and mode select are also easy.  Unscrew the screw on the side opposite the line, and line it up, put on the knob, and screw it back in.
