If you want to get into modding your x0xb0x, having a good idea of what is going on inside the guts is a good idea.  Check the SchematicOverview and all of the subsections for more information.  

If you want to just perform the mods like a cookbook, you can probably do that too, but you might get hosed if something goes wrong!  If you have performed a mod, feel free to write about your reactions, any problems you have (or had) and any pointers on how to do it.
